Remember how a group of nine of us set forth to make $100 K in 10 days? Well, many people wanted an update about how we did, so here is the update.
We didn't make the $100 K in 10 days. Instead, we made $120 K in 130 days. This e-mail explains how we made $120 K in 130 days, and where we are at, but before I do that, let me tell you about something that will keep the spirit of the $100 K in 10 days alive, and have you see me live in person!

Now...
On March 6th, nine of us began a journey that few others have dare attempted before. It was a journey marked by boldness, genius, and magic. It was a journey to make $100,000 in just 10 short days, and do it in full view of the glare of the public eye.
Many people applauded us, a few cursed us. All who knew of us and our journey were riveted by it.
We failed to make $100,000 In 10 days.
We made it in a 130.
Yes, 130.
Some of you might say, "Well, you didn't make it in the 10 days, so you are failures."
If making $100,000 in 130 days instead of 10 makes us failures, we are happy to "fail" that way every time!
Woo-hoo! We did it!
How?
Great question.
Regular subscribers to the $100k in 10 days updates know that one of our team members, Brad, brought us a land deal out West, which we jumped into. We tied up the land, and then Brad went looking for a buyer. Well, he found the buyer. The deal is signed, and the deposit is being made, and the closing dates are set for around mid-July. We know how much we put in, we know what our share of the profit is, based on signed contracts. We made exactly $120,000 gross revenue, and $100,000 net profit..
Based on a July 15, 2007 closing dates, we will have made our money in 130 days.
Now, we are very happy, thrilled, and excited, but the point of this exercise was never just about the money. We wanted to prove to ourselves that we could throw our hat over the wall, make a bold, public declaration, and then jump into action. We wanted to show ourselves that we could make a wild, crazy, dream come true, and we wanted to inspire you to do the same.
If you had a dream that you had long buried, one that you had all but given up on, because you failed the first time out, a part of you died with that dream. You didn't just give up on your dream, you gave up on that sacred part of you that was brought here by God for a holy purpose (If you don't believe in God, don't get hung up on our terminology, call it the Universe, or whatever works for you). You probably started to go through life with a little bit less enthusiasm, less vibrancy, less joy. You probably started to feel more tired, and become more cynical. You probably stopped believing in dreams altogether, yours or those of the people around you.
We know, because we have all been there, at one point or another in our lives.
Here is the good news: all you need to bring your belief back, is to go for it again. And be willing to fail. Because if you fail as we did, and that your goal didn't happen when you said it would, and people started up with the "see, I told you so's", and the "you can't do that's", you can point to us, and say, "those guys kept going, and so will I". You can fail your way to success.
In a way, we feel that it's better that we failed to do it in 10 days, and did it in a much longer time frame. Because that inspires us to keep going for it, even after we fail, and we want it to inspire you, too.
